1. Scan-to-Request QR Code

All guests can scan a QR code at their table, on flyers, or near the DJ booth to open the song request page instantly. No account or login required.

2. Vote for the Next Song

Guests can vote on requested songs. Display a vote count or a “Most Wanted Song” section. Votes help guide the DJ without automatically determining the playlist.

3. “Now Playing” Section

Guests will see the song currently playing, the artist, the next scheduled track, and who requested the song. This should update from the DJ's actual playlist or a manually controlled dashboard.

4. Birthday Shoutouts & Dedications

Guests have the option to submit birthday wishes, anniversaries, congratulations, or special dedications for the DJ to announce.

5. Request Status Tracking

The status of song requests can be displayed, such as: Received, Under Review, Approved, Up Next, Played, or Unavailable. This helps guests understand what happened to their requests.

6. Crowd Energy Poll

The DJ can add an interactive poll asking guests what they want to hear next: Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Latin, Pop, or Old School.

7. Featured or Priority Requests

This feature is for special occasions. If paid priority requests are offered, VIP sections will not guarantee a requested song will be played.

8. Event-Specific Request Access

Using event names, guests can submit songs to the correct celebration. This is especially useful when the DJs are performing at different events.

9. DJ Control Dashboard

DJs can create a private dashboard where they can approve, reject, reorder, and mark requests as played. Add duplicate detection and a way to temporarily close submissions.

10. Song Request Guidelines

Song requests are subject to availability, event suitability, timing, and DJ discretion. An explicit-content preference and repeated submissions are highly discouraged.
